My mission is to make singing accessible to people of all ages and abilities. My goal is to not only teach students to sing in a healthy, efficient way, but to work with them in becoming versatile and well-rounded artists, who sing repertoire that brings them joy.
My studios (Philadelphia, and Virtual) consist of students ranging from ages 6-80. I teach folks who just like to sing for fun, to people auditioning for music or theatre programs, to child and adult professionals. I do not believe that voice lessons should be reserved only for professionals or pre-professionals, but that everyone can and should sing!

"Casie is an incredible talent and teacher and so much fun to be around! She brings an infectious positive energy to each session. We spoke about my personal goals for lessons (not being afraid to sing in soprano range, increase vocal agility, and strengthen the passaggio), and she chose appropriate pieces to challenge me and improve my technique. Working together, she has helped me to identify areas in my voice where it feels less strong, and expertly provides exercises to pinpoint those areas. As our lessons have progressed, we have worked more on mixing, and focused on bringing up the chest voice and belt. I am so much more aware of what is happening physically while singing, and have begun to differentiate the feeling in placement. We meet during varied time slots, on a drop-in basis. Sign ups for Drop-In lessons are posted each Friday, and close on Sunday at 11:59pm.

Masterclasses are great for 8-12 students who have a specific song, or cut of a song they want feedback on. We meet in a classroom or hall, and they perform their piece with an accompanist. Each student gets 10-20 minutes to work on their piece with me. I offer feedback on technique, exercises, performance, etc. This takes place in front of the other students, and observers so that they can all learn from each other, and cheer each other on.
Masterclasses are popular for drama clubs of all ages.

Audition Workshops are similar to Masterclasses, but focus on audition technique such as presenting oneself, slating, entering and taking up space. I will typically offer feedback on acting and performance/presentation, rather than on vocal technique in Audition Workshops. I will also recommend 2-3 new songs/cuts, based off of your performance and vibe as an artist.
Audition Workshops are great for folks auditioning for performing arts schools, performance degree programs, musicals, drama clubs, and competitions.

You’re casting your show, and you know the vocal parts are taxing and challenging. I’m here to help your cast learn their vocal parts with healthy singing technique that will sustain their voices for 8 show weeks! Whether it’s for a lead role that doesn’t leave the stage for 2 hours, or a ensemble of children who need some guidance, I have a toolkit of exercises we can apply to the show’s music to ensure all voices are healthy and strong throughout a run.
I come in for one-on-one or group coachings, scheduled throughout a musical’s rehearsal process, and come back during tech and previews for check-ins!
